Joy Dethorne | Certified surgical Technician
Joy Dethorne is a Certified Surgical Technician. Ms. Dethorne also assists in our surgery center as well as the examination rooms and pre- and post-operative patient education and care. Ms. Dethorne is very friendly as well as compassionate and understanding.
Ranae Jaques | Front Desk
Renae Jaques has several years of experience in a plastic surgeon's office. Ms. Jaques is experienced in the front office handling schedules, insurance billing, and general front office duties. Ms. Jaques also participates with patient care. She brings to our office enthusiasm with care and concern for the well-being of our patients.
Karin Echols | Licensed Esthetician
Karin Echols is a licensed esthetician who comes to Ada Plastic Surgery with over 20 years experience in the beauty industry. She is available to aid you in all of your skin care needs, facials and chemical peels, hair removal by waxing, makeup and eyelash extensions. Additionally, she also assists Dr.McKim with all Fraxel Laser treatments performed here in our office, including pre- and post-op care of Fraxel patients. Karin is also trained and presently administering Botox and Dermal Fillers to patients concerned with signs of aging and enhancements for lips.
Karin brings to Ada Plastic Surgery a broad spectrum of experience in this industry. She moved to the Midwest in 1992, and since then has been a national makeup artist with 2 major cosmetic companies, Trish McEvoy and MAC Cosmetics, as well as working independently on television, photography, and motion picture sets as a stylist/makeup artist. Unique opportunities in this area included doing makeup for grammy award-winning artist Alicia Keyes, along with several other celebrities. She has also had extensive experience in bridal makeup design. Karin has a strong passion for the anti-aging field of skin care, makeup application and helping people achieve their appearance goals. She is very active in continuing her education and attends advanced courses on a regular basis. She is also active in the Association of Idaho Esthetics and Electrologists and currently is serving as President of that organization.
After being away for 16 years, Karin has returned back to Boise and is pleased to bring her talents to the Treasure Valley and is looking forward to serving our patients and clients.
